I just wanted to express how pleased I am with Anita's Dance Center.

The atmosphere is light and fun for the girls, and the focus is on having fun and being creative. As a mother of three girls I am especially pleased that Anita's dancers come in all different shapes and sizes. I love seeing all different body types dancing on stage, and I know that is a positive message to send to all young girls. I also love the center itself! I have a toddler, and I really appreciate having the playroom to keep her busy during class time. It's also great that Anita herself is active as a teacher and is visible at the center. Her commitment and passion is astounding. She gets to know the girls and is a great role model. All in all I highly recommend Anita's Dance Center!

"Anita's is more than a dance studio.

Turning out great dancers is just one of the benefits. Anita's teaches kids not only how to dance, but teaches their students valuable life lessons and how to be better people. The teachers serve as positive role models who teach with true enthusiasm and excitement for dance. The studio offers a safe and fun environment where the dancers can be themselves and meet friends from all over southeast Wisconsin who share a common love - dance.

Anita's offers a wonderful program for the beginning students with many class offerings. My 5-year old daughter loves her performing class and it has been wonderful to see her self confidence grow! My older daughter loves being part of the companies and all that they offer her. She has become a confident performer because of her experience at Anita's and her love for dance shows when she's performing. The recitals are always top-notch and the father-daughter dances provide precious memories that will last a lifetime. What is special about Anita's is that they believe in providing a wonderful dance experience to all dancers, regardless of their abilities. I feel lucky that my girls are a part of this dance studio!!"

"Anita's Dance Center provides a wonderful atmosphere

for a girl to grow as a dancer and a person. Everyone is encouraged to do their personal best and work together as a team. It all comes together to provide a very exciting and entertaining show. The Father-Daughter dance routines in the Recitals are a great memory my daughter and I will always share. The older students and teachers are excellent role models for a young girl. I'm proud my daughter is a dancer at Anita's Dance Center."

"As a high school counselor I work with teenagers everyday.

Many of the older girls that dance at Anita’s are also students or former students of mine. Every one of them is academically focused, goal driven and have the highest character ~ amazing young women that stand out among their peers!

As a parent, I am most grateful that my daughter has the opportunity to dance at Anita’s and have these wonderful young women as role models. My hope is that not only will my daughter develop into a talented dancer, but also possess the great integrity and character that all Anita’s dancers possess."

"My daughter dances at Anita’s Dance Center and loves it.

We tried two other studios that were closer to our home in Kenosha and found that those studios were all about money and the instructors, and not about the children loving to dance and having fun. My sister recommended Anita’s and I decided to try it for a year. That was five years ago and we still commute to dance every week.

Family and friends ask why I would drive my daughter 50 minutes to dance 1-2 times a week and the answer is simple for my husband and me. My daughter is learning to be disciplined, self-motivated, work as a team and the morales and values that she is exposed to every week are what my husband and I strive to portray daily. My daughter is given the chance to be herself at Anita’s without being judged by her peers."

"Over the years we have attended weekly classes and many dance recitals.

Each year the performances at the Recitals are more beautiful and entertaining. It has been a joy to watch all of the girls grow up and become beautiful, graceful and confident. They truly love what they do and it shows. I believe that [my daughter] has not only grown as a dancer but also as a person. She demonstrates poise, grace, confidence and has become a true performer. Friendships form and bonds among the students are strong. There is both teamwork and independent skill developed teaching accountability, responsibility and time management.

A few years ago, we changed studios and returned to Anita's just one year later. The other studio wasn't as family-friendly, didn't offer the same level of quality instruction and didn't challenge our daughter. She asked to return. Not long ago, when her first car broke down, we offered Emily the opportunity to get a new car but in return she would need to let go of her dance classes. She choose dance over the new car!! This demonstrates her commitment and her passion for dance. I'm thrilled that she has also developed a love for the performing arts and hope that she continues to remain involved in dance for years to come. The physical, emotional and developmental rewards have been great."

"I was eager to provide my girls with an opportunity to learn proper dance technique

and expose them to a variety of performing opportunities in a safe, fun environment. I guess that's why I have them enrolled at Anita's Dance Center. They enjoy weekly lessons and absolutely love the annual Recitals. I was a student at the Center myself for more than 15 years and am thrilled that my kids are dancing along in my footsteps!"

"Dancing at Anita's Dance Center has given [my daughter] confidence!

Being from East Troy, we have a 25 minute drive to the studio. These twice-a-week trips got to be a lot during cold weather and icy, snowy roads. One year, on the way to fall dance registration at Anita’s, I told my daughter that I knew she was getting more involved in school and sports, and asked her if she still wanted to do dance. I told her it was kind of far to drive twice a week, but that I would keep doing it, if she really enjoyed it and wanted to keep dancing.

Without hesitation, she said “I can’t imagine not coming here to dance Mom. I love it here! I love all the teachers and the friends that I’ve made!” I was glad to hear that she felt that way. Even though I already knew what her answer would be, it was nice to hear it from her. I would say Anita’s Dance Center has always been a place her true happiness shines through and brings her heart much happiness, because her big smile comes from within!

I feel very fortunate to never have to worry when our daughter is at dance. I always know she will be safe and looked after when she is at Anita’s for lessons. These feelings of trust come from sitting in the lobby through her first years of dance. Being able to talk to Anita, David, the other teachers and parents was very reassuring. Spending a lot of time there, it seems as though it has become somewhat like a 2nd home for her. In closing, I would like to mention our first experience attending an annual company banquet. It was our daughters first year in “Kids Company," so she was invited to the banquet. It was a wonderful evening. As we were driving home I asked her if she enjoyed it and she answered “Yes, and I want to be a graduating Senior from Anita’s!"

"Anita’s Dance Center is a family centered environment.

We as parents are able to participate in the dance activities with our daughters, through the Father-Daughter dances and being a volunteer at the Recitals and other Dance Center activities.  The classes are very affordable and they offer many different types of dance classes for children. At the Dance Center all children are dancers, regardless of age, size or skill. The children feel very good about themselves and their skills as they perform in the Recitals."

"In addition to dancing at Anita's, our daughter is a sailor and has 1 up on her competition on the water.

Many people have noticed and commented on our daughter's sense of balance in her boat.  Upon reflection of her activities it is attributed to the fundamentals of dance that she has learned at Anitas. Thanks Anita!"
