Anita's
Dance Center hosted Master Teachers at
the studio.
The teachers are from Hollywood and have
extensive credentials in the
entertainment industry, including work
with Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Christina
Aguilera, Merv Griffin, Jay Leno, Cher,
Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan
and many others.
Key Accomplishments of the Dance Center
2009 - Members of Anita's
Dance Companies perform at halftime of the BCS National Championship
game in Miami.
2008 - The Competition Team
performs at halftime of the BCS National Championship game in New
Orleans. Members of the other Companies perform at halftime of the
Holiday Bowl in San Diego.
2007 -
Members of Anita's Dance Companies perform at
halftime of the Champ's Sports Bowl in Orlando.
2006 - The dance center
expands to 11 new studios with 10,000 square feet of dance space. A member of Anita's teaching staff wins Miss Wisconsin.
2005 - Competition team won a title
at Nationals in Orlando, FL.
Chubby Checker
performed live at all four of Anita's June recital performances at the
Pabst Theater.
Anita's Radio Disney Dancers performed in July at Six Flags along with Ashley
Garland, Greg Raposo, Aaron Carter and Christy Carlson Romano (star on Disney's
Even Stevens and the voice of Kim Possible).
2004 - Nikki Cleary, rising Disney
recording artist, performed live with members of the Radio Disney Dancers at
each of Anita's four June recital performances at the
Pabst Theater.
2002 - Performed in January at the
Pettit National Ice
Center as part of Milwaukee's Olympic Torch Ceremony. In July, more than 100
of Anita's students and 50 parents were part of the Pre-Game Show at Major
League Baseball's All-Star Game held at
Miller Park.
2000 - Profiled in
Dance Spirit Magazine.
Performed at
Anthony Robbins' Results Seminar. Anita's dancers had a photo taken with
Anthony Robbins and Donald Trump.
1998 - Rated first choice for dance
lessons in the Milwaukee Area (June,
Metroparent)
1996 - Performance at the Olympic
Games in Atlanta
